Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the Armed Services YMCA of Missouri. Your efforts as a volunteer are greatly appreciated and play a valuable role in our overall mission to support military families in our community. The funds received from our Youth Basketball and Cheer League come directly to our organization which offers support in the form of free or low-cost programs and resources. These include a free Food Pantry resource, Operation Deploy your Dress (ODYD) program, multiple early-education Preschool programs, music class and children’s Cooking class. Additionally, our organization hosts patriotic events throughout the year including an annual Patriot Day Festival, Field of Heroes and Duck Race. Other events include Father-Daughter and Mother-Son dances. May include filing paperwork, scanning membership cards, and assisting with seasonal decorations. Special Event Photographer - Take photographs following event/program guidelines. Ensure only individuals who have signed a release are photographed and only approved devices are used to take and save photos. Angel Tree - Collect gift requests. Sort and wrap gifts. Intern - Internships should have paperwork from the school or organization sponsoring the intern. The Y should not be the fiscal agent for any paid internships.

Coaching a Winter youth sports team at the Wildwood/Chesterfield YMCAs. You will be the main contact for the team you are coaching for as well as the distributor of photos from picture day and medals at the end of the season. You will read through and finish all training as a coach, before the first game. You will also need to know all rules that are stated in our rule book, coaches guide, and parent handbook that will be given to you by the Sports Program Director.
